Accurity was hired by DEKOMTE de Temple Expansion Joint Technology to perform the mechanical portion of HRSG penetration seals on 4 different Nooter/Eriksen, Inc. HRSG units in 2 different plants, 1 in South Carolina and 1 in Arkansas. Accurity successfully installed 48 penetration seals, 2 expansion joints, and an expansion joint dust cover. The HRSG seals included the replacement of bellows and packing glands with fabric expansion joints and included ASME (The American Society of Mechanical Engineers) Code welding attachments to the pipe that did not have poison pads.
