Accurity was recently hired to remove and replace belly pans in a Nooter Eriksen High Pressure steam drum. The belly pan connections had become loose and the belly pans had started to become distorted and warped.
Accurity completely removed the belly pan, assisted the plant in inspecting the downcomer welds, and reinstalled the entire belly pan set. The belly pans required over 600′ of weld with over 40 attachments to the drum it self. All of the pieces had to fit into a 15″ x 12″ oval drum door. #HRSG
